Here's what I added since September of 2005:
The next thing to add might be a new paint job & chome wheels.
In addition to what I added up until now (6/15/06), this Sabre also has these additions:
ENJOY... Send comments to Bamadog@bamadog.com
You will see a 'SALE PRICE' and an 'INTERNET PRICE'. You pay the sale price. The internet price is the lowest price I found on the internet for the part brand new.
CONDITION/FUNCTIONALITY APPEARANCE PAYMENT SHIPPING
I purchased these bags used a few weeks ago, but after trying to install with my new seat, they don't fit like I want, so my loss is your gain. They look great and I honestly wish I could keep them, but I can't. I have to stick with my plain leatherlyke bags I was previously trying to sell. These bags look great and offer the most room in saddlebags than practically any other bag. Plus you can lock these bags and access your stuff very easily. These are definitely a bargain at this price vs. internet price. Retail is over $500.
I have had this seat for about 5 years and it still looks like NEW as I don't ride all that often. The seat is still very plush & all buttons are securely in place on the top of the seat. The seat is mounted with one bolt on top of the rear fender which is NOT included with this sale. Use your existing bolt to secure. The screw on each side is not used like with the OEM seat. The seat is very stable and very comfortable. I'm replacing with another aftermarket seat due to my new risers changing the angle of my back against the back of the seat... my loss is definitely your gain. This is the most comfortable seat Mustang makes IMO. There is a very, very small hole in the bottom of the seat on the brake side where the screw holds the OEM seat, but it is not noticeable, especially if you have saddlebags. This can be seen in the 7th and 8th picture down on the left side. Since the bottom of the seat tends to curl under slightly, it's honestly not even noticeable unless you're looking for it. Also, a vinyl repair kit would probably fix and seal permanently so no hole would be visible.
Overall, this seat looks brand new and there is hardly any wear at all. The rear seat has been sat on less than 15 times as I have had only a handful of riders in the time I have had the bike.
The bikes comes with a brand new chrome bracket with 2 screws for mounting to rear fender. I used my previous bracket for my new seat, so you get the new one.
From the Mustang website: The front buckets measure a full 15" across. The passenger seat extends forward to provide ample back support for the driver. The 12" wide passenger seat features Mustang's unique internal support wings to keep the entire width of the molded foam supported.
Fits HONDA VT1100 SABRE 2000-up, VT1100 ACE & ACE Tourer 1995-2001 and SPIRIT 1997-up.
I have had this sissy pad (along with the seat above) for about 5 years and it still looks like NEW. The pad is still very plush & the center button is securely in place. The pad is mounted with 2 bolts (NOT included) on the rear of the seat to the Sissy Bar (also NOT included). The pad is stable and very comfortable to the lower back. I'm replacing with another aftermarket pad due to me changing out the seat... again, my loss is your gain. Overall, this pad looks brand new and there is no noticeable wear at all. Since I have had limited riders, the pad has barely been touched.
Part #: HL-08P51-MCK-100. I got this part when I purchased the bike new. It's a great-looking piece I replaced in Summer 2005 for another aftermarket part. This part comes with the hardware to install since it requires a longer bolt that replaces your original one (see last pic). Scuffs on the hardware shouldn't be seen except for the bolt ends. The chrome on the radiator guard is still mostly rich. It's very difficult to see where it has even slightly faded due to being garage-kept. This part will work with the original pegs or floorboards with no extra modifications (unlike some interstate bars). It does not come with instructions, but I can offer help if you need it. This part looks really good with the Hondaline chrome radiator side covers which are pictured below. And as you can see, the chrome wear is so slight, it's hardly even visible. Great-looking piece.
Part #: HL-08F81-MBY-1A0F. I had this piece on my bike until Summer 2006 when I replaced with an aftermarket cover. This master cylinder cover looks exactly like the OEM one, only this one is chrome. It looks brand new and none of the chrome has worn off or faded. Definitely looks better than the dull OEM cover.
Part #: HL-08F81-MCK-A00G. I had this piece on my bike until a few months ago when I replaced with aftermarket parts (tach kit). It's still in excellent shape, near perfect/new condition. Still has a very deep, rich chrome finish and looks very sharp. Use your current bolts to mount as there is no added hardware with this piece. Self-explanatory installation, but instructions are included.
I had this piece on my bike for 2 years until I replaced it with the billet clamp above. It's still in near perfect/new condition. Still has a very deep, rich chrome finish and looks very sharp. Use your current bolts to mount as there is no added hardware with this piece. Self-explanatory installation. From what I can tell, this piece is no longer available.
I had this piece on my bike until Summer 2005 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. This is the original 2000 Left Panel in Pearl Red color. Very hard to come by. There is a small scratch in the bottom left part of the panel (pictured to the left in 2nd pic). There are more light marks on the panel that are not noticeable unless you're looking at it a few inches away. It is fully functional and still looks pretty good (see below).

There are very light marks on the panel that are not noticeable unless you're looking at it a few inches away. It is fully functional and still looks good (see below). The panel does not come with the grommet in the bottom hole, and it doesn't come with the lock as I have kept my lock in my other aftermarket panel. Put your current lock into this panel along with your grommet.
It's brand new and still in the box. Since my bike is in the garage and never driven in the rain, I don't need this cover after all. Still beats retail.
Features (as stated on the box):
These mirrors are in LIKE-NEW condition and the chrome is still rich with a deep shine. Springs holding the mirrors in place at the pivot point are still strong as well. Installation is simple as they are merely screwed in. I had these mirrors until a couple of months ago when I replaced them with aftermarket mirrors. If your OEM mirrors have gotten scratched up or bent, this is a great replacement deal. There is no added hardware with the mirrors, just what you see in the pictures.
I have had these OEM risers up until a couple of months ago and they are still 100% functional with no major knicks, no dents, and no bent threads. This is a polished item so they only have so much shine. Only slight wear as you can see, but it can only be seen up close. I am currently using the bolts & rubber gaskets to hold my current risers, so you get what is in the picture - 2 risers at a great price. You should be able to use your existing parts to mount these - or head to Home Depot for new bolts.
I had these risers for 2 weeks after I bought the bike then replaced them with floorboards. Unfortunately, while taking the pictures for these pegs, I slightly grazed the top of the brake-side peg on the pavement (see pic #3). It's not very deep, but it is visible. Else, these would look brand new. Both still have a deep chrome finish as they weren't used much at all. They just sat in my garage the last few years. The rubber rings are still black and not even worn in the least. Use existing mounting hardware to install these pegs as this sale doesn't come with any bolts for installation.
I had this Honda filter installed in Summer 2005, then less than a month later I changed it out for a K&N filter when I had my bike rejet for my new HK Pipes. This filter is barely used and is like-new condition. Retail price is even more at the Honda shop. Get it super cheap here, shipping included!
These have been on my bike until 2005 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. The chrome part is still in great shape with only a few minor scratches. Both plates are NOT bent or dented so they will still look great if reinstalled. When originally installed by Honda, they use glue/3M stick'um to hold them in place. They have some of the sticky part still on there and some was left on the engine when I took them off, so you will need more stick'um compound to reinstall them on your bike. The dark part of the back side is the leftover sticky part. If you need better pictures than these, let me know and I'll make new ones. They look better than the pictures indicate. Both have 'HONDA' on the bottom side of the circle and still look sharp. Chrome still looks good overall.
These were on my bike until Summer 2005 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. They have no visible scratches and look like new. They are made of plastic and come with 2 plastic push mounting screws for each neck (pictured).
These were on my bike until Summer 2005 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. I have 2 pairs - one from the front and the other from the back. The ones on the back are obviously in slightly better condition since they don't face oncoming dirt, rocks, loose particles, etc. But the front ones aren't in such bad condition that they are chipped or anything. Both are in very great shape - the rears are just smoother. These signal covers do NOT come with the rubber gasket around its edge, nor does it come with screws or added hardware. It's just the orange plastic pieces. I would imagine that they would fit more than just the sabre (Spirit, Rebel?), but check with your dealer to be sure.
This part is fully functional but has a little chrome wear, but not enough to make a huge eyesore. I didn't even know it looked like this until I removed the bracket from my bike. I replaced this part with aftermarket parts in Summer 2006. This is the piece that actually holds the speedometer at its pivot point. It comes with the bolt that holds the speedo in place as well. However, note that this speedo bracket does not have the curly-Q's on each end like some of the newer Sabres. Those normally hold the OEM cables in place, but they are not needed as my cables have always stayed in place just fine. FYI, the brown part in the 2nd picture is not really seen once the speedo is installed. The part of the bracket that is seen mostly is the long bar in the 2nd picture and it still looks pretty good. For a part that's not seen very easily, this is a pretty decent deal.
You can only get this part from Honda if you get the electrical components with it, so if you need to just replace a scratched-up switch housing, this is a good replacement option. It is not chrome, but does have a decent shine and no major scratches. There are a few slight marks on the side where you're unable to see (next to grips). I have cleaned out the inside of the casings about 95%. You will have to use your existing 2 long screws to hold these 2 pieces together along with all of the guts of the housing as this is just the housing with no hardware.

I had this piece on my bike until Summer 2005 when I replaced with aftermark parts. It's one piece, no bolts or yellow reflectors. Just remove your current ones and put on this one. Like any radiator cover, it gets dirty and stained. This one is no different though the stains/marks on it aren't too bad. There are no cracks in this piece and the rubber pieces are intact on the top of the inside part. I believe the extra hole in each side of the cover (on opposite end of reflector placement) is where I had some Hondaline Chrome Side covers installed. If you don't have some side covers, you may have an extra hole you can use for some other decor to cover it up. If not, I'm not sure how visible it will be.. but it will be visible.
Did you put on aftermarket pipes and also get a jet kit installed? Now you want some OEM pipes put back on and the original jets in the carbs? These are the original parts that were removed when I had my Dynajet jet kit installed at my local Honda dealer, including old springs and needles. Also includes are some of the parts not even used in the Dynajet jet kit for my bike. They will be shipped in the Dynajet jet kit case - but remember - this is NOT a Dynajet Jet Kit. These are OEM parts along with some of the extras from the upgraded kit if you want your engine to be re-jet to manufacturer specs. Included are the instructions for the Dynajet Jet Kit.
This cable was on my bike until Summer 2006 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. It has no scratches, no bends, and is very clean. Install is not too difficult. If you need help, drop me a line. In pefect working order.
These cables were on my bike until Summer 2006 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. They have no scratches, no bends, and are very clean. The polished end of both cables look great as well. In perfect working order.
This cable was on my bike until Summer 2006 when I replaced with aftermarket parts. It has no major scratches, no bends, and is very clean. There is one spot on it where it is held to the frame (just an impression), but if you use the same part on your bike, you won't see this at all. The inner cable that twists works great (nicely lubed). You will have to use your existing screw to mount to the bottom of the left fork. Installs very easily. If you need help, drop me a line. In perfect working order
